Audi RS Q8 | News
We have long hoped that Audi decided to finalize its plans for a Q8 on steroids and finally it is here. It is called RS Q8 and it’s the evil embodiment of Ingolstadt’s coupe-SUV, a giant with a strong sports inclination ready to make available supercars’ performance figures, while maintaining those extra centimeters off the ground and space on board that allow it to be exploited throughout the whole year.
The V8 TFSI is a 4-liter twin-turbo with mild-hybrid technology capable of delivering 600 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, obviously grounded on both axles thanks to the four-wheel drive QUATTRO traction. Despite the size and the weight that it carries with it, the RS Q8 burns the 0-100 kph in 3.8 seconds, ideal when you decide to set your suspension almost close to the ground and leave at least for a moment any more remote intention to put the wheels away from the asphalt. Maximum speed, once the electronic limiter is excluded, stops at 305 per hour. Finally, there are adaptive air suspension and standard integral steering, while on request you can opt for active anti-roll stabilization and sports differential. It arrives early 2020.
