60 Units Will Focus Towards The Ultimate Chiron Performance
Continuing the same path introduced with the Veyron, the exclusive Chiron expands its proposal with a series of versions that focus on certain specific aspects of the Molsheim masterpiece, giving birth to the Pur Sport, the one that most focuses its attention on sportiness and drivability of the French W16. Produced in only 60 units and with prices starting from at least 3 million euro (excluding taxes), it reduces the weight by about 50 kg and increases its downforce figures thanks to a new design for the bumpers and a fixed rear spoiler even more skilled in managing air flows, guaranteeing the 350 kph mastodon, the agility between bends that a 1,500 hp and 1,600 Nm supercar needs, necessarily having to deal with an anything but graceful weight.
The specific power remains unchanged, but there is a significant gain in terms of drivability, then having Michelin Sport Cup R tires that will do everything to keep you glued to the ground, once launched from one curve to another. In the cockpit, although without distorting the elegance of the well-known forms of the Chiron, there is a greater use of Alcantara, with controls made of titanium and aluminum. Finally, so to speak, the Pur Sport is equipped with a recalibrated gearbox, which adopts 15% shorter ratios thus favoring acceleration and therefore making this Bugatti more agile through corners.
