Mazda MX-30 | News
The unstoppable Japanese brand rides its well-deserved momentum revealing more details about the freshly introduced MX-30, the first electric model now at its final stage of production. With the version called Launch Edition which will cost from around € 28,900, it will arrive in dealerships shortly, ready to represent an eco-friendly alternative for a mainly urban use, thanks to its approximately 200 kilometers of range.
The design is a further evolution of what has been positively seen with the recent models of the company (in particular with the excellent CX-30 of which you will soon read our complete test drive review), but in this case designers decided to further characterize it, introducing upwind opening of the rear doors (as on the RX-8) and with an even cleaner front profile, in part thanks to the freedom granted by the absence of a combustion engine under the hood.
The cockpit, made with biocompatible materials, where a vegan alternative replaces leather parts, has been designed to guarantee a maximum sense of space, while offering a clean design, still extremely pleasant for on board occupants. The MX-30 is finally powered by an electric engine with 143 hp and 265 Nm of torque, with a 35.5 kWh battery that should guarantee enough mileage for urban movements on a daily basis. Not only environmentally friendly, but this time an electric car is also very beautiful to look at.
