McLaren 720S: A New Supercars’ Era
Among the main highlights of the Geneva Motor Show we undoubtedly have the new McLaren 720S, which goes to pick up the baton of the 650S, overturning all of our beliefs when it comes to supercars and knot to the stomach performance. The 720S is a completely new car and is an important step for the English brand that renews the Super Series, upgrading dramatically both in terms of aesthetics, with the disappearance of the side air intakes that in favor of a cleaner design integrates aerodynamics designed doors able to channel the air flow, both in terms of mechanics.
The engine is still a twin-turbo V8, but increases in size and becomes a 4-liter, horses are 710 and torque is 770Nm, of course distributed only on the rear axle, to the delight of those who will have the ability and the courage to bring it to the limit. As stated by McLaren, the 720S redefines what are our expectations in terms of supercars, from ballistic performance like its 0-100 kph of just 2.8 seconds and the ability to stop completely from 200 per hour in only 4.6 seconds. More powerful, more responsive, more engaging thanks to the many magical touches that presents under the skin, as for the new carbon fiber chassis (Monocage II). It will ask you to spend at least € 240,000, but never as in this case it will be worth it.
