In Woking they had already dropped an exceptional couple of aces, such as the 720 S Spider and the 600 LT Spider, but the lack of a real première in that of Geneva certainly did not leave enthusiasts unsatisfied. In fact, a teaser released during the beginning of the Geneva kermesse let us presage that alongside the Sports Series, the Super Series and the Ultimate Series, a whole new model will soon be able to bring the pleasure of driving over long distances to a further level – and let us tell ‘ya, but about McLaren and driving roads we know a couple of things.
Unfortunately, at least for the moment we don’t have more details, but we can accentuate our interest while listening to the words of CEO Mike Flewitt, who has assured that it will be a car that can combine the exclusivity of the crazy Speedtail (with which it will share some design elements but not just that) with the usability of a grand tourer that will keep intact the DNA of the Company, a mid-rear engine and a drivability that combines performance and comfort. This will let the new McLaren of Grand Tourer to write its own rules.
