The Milano AutoClassica fair officially concludes once again the 2019 events season with its ninth edition. While maintaining a winning format and despite just two pavilions, enthusiasts from all over Europe have been able to enjoy an exceptional immersion in what the world of cars really is. Starting from the many anniversaries to celebrate, such as Pagani’s 20 years (on show with numerous models including Huayra Roadster, Cinque Roadster, Zonda F), passing through the centenary of Bentley and Zagato, the latter able to amaze with the revolutionary lines of the Lancia Hyena and the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale. And then again Alpine, with an increasingly dense array of A110, Jaguar – Land Rover, McLaren, Porsche, Lotus and a select group of dealers who have enriched the offer of modern supercars and classic icons, offering visitors the chance to admire in first person all the models that live in our dreams.
Dreams that reach their highest peak in the Ferrari world, where we found pristine examples (in this case not for sale) of 250 GT Cabriolet, 275 GTB, Dino and more recent myths like F12 TDF, F50, F40 and 512 BB. But dreams also exist to be realized and this is the case of the auction proposed by Wannenes, which during the Saturday afternoon beat the car that somehow represented the real symbol of this year’s edition of Milano AutoClassica, the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione once owned by Sergio Marchionne and the only one in the world in the Maserati Blu Notturno color (final price around € 220,000), but also a very rare 1903 Ceirano Junior, two unpublished technical drawings by Giovanni Michelotti for the Bugatti 252 and various vintage and modern sports cars. Finally, or better to say, the three Ferrari who welcomed the public at the entrance, consisted of a 125 S, the Formula 1 F2002 with which Michael Schumacher won his fifth world title and the immortal 250 GT SWB, another undisputed queen of an event capable of growing year after year, keeping intact that desire to offer visitors an overview of the history of automobile, through the most important models and compact dimensions that make the day at AutoClassica a moment of proper intimacy with your great passion.
