Past and Present Supercars Invade Turin
After being able to look away from the incredible beauty of the girls, especially the brunette one at the Jaguar stand, we had the chance to deal with dozens of supercars of the past, present and even future. The four days that the city of Turin has lived last week end, will be remembered for a long time, in the hope that the Italian motor city, as it is often called, can return to its former glory, also thanks to events like this. The open-air showroom, issued along the Parco del Valentino, has served as a stage for a huge number of cars: from the Pagani Zonda R to the Ferrari FXX-K, through most accessible sports cars like the new Porsche GT3 and the Cayman GT4, or also Range Rover, Alfa Romeo and the always exciting Lamborghini (Huracan and Aventador SV). At the Reggia di Venaria, you should have been able to witness true pieces of art with a few more years on their back, including an endless array of Ferrari (both classic and modern), former Group B Lancia, limited editions and concepts. The festival in Turin has, however, had other merits, such as to give visibility to coach-builders and designers, that just as our masters of the past, still work with paper and pencil, offering a touch of uniqueness and inspiration, thanks to their remarkable creations (follow us for a deep focus with Up Design’s creator Umberto Palermo). To top it all, the famous Pagani’s meeting “Vanishing Point”, which has seen about 12 Pagani models + 1 Horacio Pagani and a very special Huayra, the “Monza Lisa”, came straight from the United States.
