ICONIC GERMAN TUNER RELEASES 4 ACES
Not one, not two and not even three. For the Swiss event, German tuner/manufacturer RUF, unveils 4 different models. There’s a little ‘something for everyone, but especially for those who are looking for horsepower and speed.
The Turbo Florio, named after the famous Italian race, is based on the new 911 Targa, however, delivers 630-hp and is available with all-wheel drive, or only rear-wheel drive. The choice is yours.
The RGT 4.2 is instead based on the GT3, but has a slightly more generous engine: the 4.2 puts to the ground 525-hp and is not ashamed to show off its muscles, such as the roll-cage inside the cockpit.
The CTR 3 “Hippie” has undergone a couple of updates, both aesthetics and in the mechanical compartment, where the glorious engine now manages to deliver 777-hp. Let us raise some doubts about the livery in which it was presented in Geneva.
Finally, the RTR seems to be the most extreme proposal, where the 3.8 turbocharged has been heavily modified, until a final output of 802-hp. Carbon-ceramic brakes, roll-cage and a 6-speed manual transmission, provide a unique driving experience.
