S4 Avant: One of the Best Sports Wagons, Always
After revealing the new S4 sedan at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Audi puts on the table the Avant version, certainly more desirable for the European market, thanks to its practicality and strong driving dynamics. Focal point here is the 3 liter of the previous step to the fierce RS4: its V6 turbocharged engine outputs 345 horsepower (20 more than the previous generation). Such a reserve power enables it to burn the 0-100 kph in just 4.7 seconds and reach 250 per hour (with electronic limiter) effortlessly. Plenty of space for luggage and for occupants, with a simple and modern interior in typical German style. All-wheel drive also makes it an excellent travel companion regardless of seasons and weather, while fuel consumption and emissions that have been further improved. In short, this time we’re dealing with a complete car from every point of view, cheaper than the RS4, but equally exciting and fast. What else would you ask?
