Info: The circuit was opened in 1962 as a test track for Honda, but soon became one of the most important, not only in Japan but around the world. Its presence in the Formula 1 calendar, also made it stage of legendary challenges, but also theater of numerous accidents, due to the high speeds reached. Suzuka is one of the few circuits that recall the shape of an “eight”.
Focus: There isn’t a particular corner or section, which in particular, is more or less important. The circuit is one of the finest and fastest in the world, especially in the first sequence, after the start-finish straight. The final chicane, tough, deserves a special mention: implemented in 1983, to promote security and facilitate entry into the pits, just before the final straight. You immediately start thinking at Senna and Prost, two drivers who are mostly linked to this GP and especially to this chicane.
