“The Cobra is now part of the family for over 30 years. My father bought it to celebrate 50 years of his own activity and restored it completely. The only modification I made was to replace the wooden steering wheel with a more modern one. I do not think that it needs any descriptions, since it is an icon, one of the most famous and beautiful car of all time, created by the genius of Carroll Shelby and capable of performance that even today, many years later, if you accelerate the wrong way, bite you hard. I use it on weekends, although here in Miami the weather would allow to use it more often, but I think that driving this is an event to be enjoyed fully, and then I do not want to “waste” a drive with it, simply going to work. When I start the engine and walk out in the driveway, the minutes it takes to heat all the fluids I enjoy the incredible sound that its V8 with side exhaust is able to give. Unique. I do not believe to be its owner: unlike the Cobra, I will not be eternal. I see myself more as a mere caretaker who is lucky enough to cure it and ride it right this time. Then it’s up to my son, already madly in love with American cars. He will continue this family tradition that I hope will be passed down for as long as possible.”
