TVR reborn again
TVR, noble English brand of supercars, whose name has remained too long forgotten through the memories of the last Tuscan and Sagaris, produced about ten years ago, comes back in the spotlight, combining its name with other renowned ones in the world of motorsport, which specifically are those of Cosworth and Gordon Murray. But first things first: TVR, which in 2013 was bought by a group of entrepreneurs headed by Les Edgar, announced its return with a new model. Specifically, by 2017 a new TVR will be presented perfectly embodying the classic and indomitable spirit of the brand: 100% English, with a naturally aspirated V8 engine located up front, manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, two-seater and breathtaking design and performance. It will certainly be a glorious comeback, accompanied, as anticipated before, by the collaboration with two highly evocative names in the automotive panorama which certainly do not need further introduction: Cosworth (historical name linked to high-performance power units) for the supply of engines and Gordon Murray (engineer, designer, technical director and father of the glorious 90s McLaren F1) for stylistic and production solutions, that for sure will be cutting-edge. Although the news has been released recently, the new TVR project is already at an advanced stage from about a year and first details along with first pictures will be released at the end of 2015.
Waiting for more news … welcome back TVR!
