1000 Miglia At The Temple Of Speed
Ended only a few days ago “the most beautiful race in the world”, the legendary 1000 Miglia, have seen 450 cars of great historical prestige crossing the center Italy, starting as usual from Brescia and heading towards the capital Rome, and then coming back to Brescia on the last day of this special weekend. Again this year we were able to witness a parade of exceptional models of various ages and brands, a real cars museum on road that has no equal. We’ve been able to see some personalities at the wheel of these cars that were finally used for what they were created at the time, to drive, or rather drive fast.
Surrounding the whole event, the inevitable modern supercars convoy, including the Ferrari Tribute, with a lot of new models (even in a limited series), the same goes for Porsche, Mercedes, etc. And to top it off there was nothing better than a nice cruise at the Temple of Speed, the Autodromo of Monza, where the height of passion for these ladies on wheels happened the very moment they were whizzing on the old Parabolica corner. And for a moment it seemed to have stepped back in time, in a better world, where cars were driven by drivers and not vice versa.
