120 Years of Renault – Renault 16 (1972)
That of the Renault 16 is a story of international taste and not only for the great success obtained in the United States, where from 1968 to 1972 was sold under the name of Sedan-Wagon, to emphasize the strong ability to satisfy customers in some respects different from the European ones. The 16 was produced in several countries all over the globe, including Algeria, South Africa, Philippines, Ivory Coast, Venezuela, Australia, Canada, Morocco, Yugoslavia, Portugal and Ireland, but 50% of its production was still sold domestically, strong of a particular design and generous dimensions.
