THE ENGLISH BEAUTY FINDS MANUAL GEARBOX AND ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE
The title says it all. At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Jaguar has two important new features for its fantastic F-Type. The first is the new 6-speed manual transmission, which thanks to its technology saves weight and the second concerns the arrival of the all-wheel drive. It will not be a permanent four-wheel drive, on the contrary, in a situation of normal driving, the traction will be distributed to 100% on the rear, not affecting the purity of Jaguar driving, but in case of necessity, will reach a subdivision of 50-50 front and rear. Not just a better grip in adverse road conditions, but 0.2 seconds less on 0-100 kph, translated in an acceleration of just 3.9 seconds.
