ABT RSQ8-R | News
Only 125 will be produced in order to celebrate the upcoming 125th anniversary of the German tuner who has always been focused on making the cars of the four rings even more performing. With the RS Q8 they did much more, they took one of the craziest SUVs around and turned it into a green monster with 740 horses and 920 Nm of torque. An angry monster hungry for asphalt and capable of reaching 315 kph of maximum speed and accelerating from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds, thanks to an all-wheel drive system that can handle similar power even in a real world that looking at it closely reminds us how the border with the surreal is almost imperceptible.
But if mechanically we had no doubts about how much ABT would exacerbate the performance concept of the gigantic SUV coupe, on the outside they managed to surprise even more by creating an extremely massive and angular body kit, made of carbon fiber, edges thus stretching bumpers, fenders, side skirts, spoilers and the rear diffuser which houses the new exhaust system with four 102 mm diameter tailpipes. There are 23-inch wheels and adjustable suspension that press it even more to the ground, proving that even once moving, the overflowing power available can be translated into incredibly fast movements from point A to B. In the cockpit, between ABT badges and commemorative sill reminding the limited number of the model, there are specific logos such as those embroidered on the mats and seats. The RSQ8-R is the ideal model to begin the celebrations of such an important milestone for the company.
