ABT: SQ7, TT-RS, RS6 and R8 At Full Power
Tuning specialist for making Audi top performing models in perfect road rockets does not miss the Swiss appointment and fields 4 aces at its own stand in Geneva, perfectly capable of attracting curious glances even of those who do not necessarily have to do with the house of the four rings. The undisputed master is the R8 V10 that thanks to a new exhaust system – not the only thing – is able to reach 630 horses. The body kit is important, with completely redesigned front and rear bumpers, side skirts, lowered suspension and huge forged wheels. Finally, saving around 50kg from the total weight, ABT has embellished the interior with carbon fiber and Alcantara, making it a place you never want to leave.
But if you have family, don’t worry, the RS6+ will be the ultimate weapon you’ve been waiting for, or maybe not even you would have imagined such power figures. The last upgrade on the most coveted wagon in the world comes with 705hp and 880Nm of torque and also in this case, the exterior does not remain stuck at the pole, with the tuner making a series of improvements aimed at making the RS6 Avant even more aggressive, with spoilers, lowered suspension, 22-inch wheels and a new exhaust system. It will be produced in only 50 units, so better hurry, if you’re still in time.
We already knew that the new TT-RS no longer wanted to be part of the sports cars segment, but seriously tries to bite some supercars’ tail – so figure out how the new TT-RS by ABT can be. 500 hp and 570Nm, low center of gravity (as for the R8) and suspension that can literally disintegrate fast laps on track, thanks to a strong suspension/chassis combination designed specifically to emphasize the most extreme performance you can get at the wheel. Bodywork sharp as a knife, but the ability to accommodate two people on the back seats, making it the alternative for everyday life, more usable than its R8 big brother. Also in this case it will be produced only 50 units.
Finally, but only because its size makes it – at least on paper – a bit far from the most sporty spirit in the most classic sense of the term, the new SQ7, reaches, thanks to ABT, 520hp and 970Nm of torque. The setting has been compulsorily revised and lowered to make more handy the SUV at the high speeds that is capable of reaching, while we find again stylistic changes that make it attractive for those customers who just can’t live without a racing mood, often far from the SUV world.
