All-New Renault Clio Ready To Conquer 2019
There are endless new features that the new generation of Clio brings with it. Based on the new CMF modular platform, result of the Nissan-Renault alliance, it is shorter and lower, but at the same time offers more room in the cabin. In fact, if the lines do not come off too much from the model it replaces, it is precisely in the cockpit that the new Clio undergoes a major transformation, with a completely redesigned dashboard that houses a 7 or 9.3 inches touch display, more responsive and complete with every feature you would expect from a car ready to conquer 2019.
There is a second digital display – right behind the steering wheel – while to complete the technological leap forward we also have the numerous integrated safety systems, such as for example the automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and the possibility of adding the blind spot monitoring and the lane maintenance system. Finally, a 360-degree vision system consisting of 4 cameras is available to facilitate parking. For the first time, the Clio will also have a hybrid unit, with a 1.6 petrol combined with an electric motor for a total power of 130 horses. As for the other models, at launch we will have a 1.0cc three-cylinder with 65, 75 or 100hp (the latter, a turbo), a new 1.3cc 4-cylinder with 130hp, combined with a 7-speed robotized dual-clutch transmission. Also confirmed are the 1.5 diesel versions, now with 85 and 115hp and manual transmission. Variants will initially be 3: Intense, R.S. Line (which replaces the GT line) and the most luxurious Initiale Paris.
