Alpine A110 R | News
Alpine presented an even sharper version of the already performing A110 S. It is called A110 R and represents the most radical expression of driving involvement, a sort of street legal declination of a lightened model optimized to be unleashed among the curbs of a track, or over the hairpin bends of a mountain pass. There are 34 kg less that stop the scale at just 1,082 kg of weight, while the 1.8 turbocharged with 300 horsepower of the S remains the beating heart of a superlight that, despite a stiffening of the frame and containing seats, does not give up the possibility of a daily coexistence.
Only 3.9 seconds are needed to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph, but the devotion to performance culminates in the aesthetic package signed by Fernando Alonso, who has chosen the only possible color combination in the same Blue Racing Mat of the A522 F1 car. We then have dedicated black rims that reflect the carbon fiber front hood and a fixed wing at the back. This new Alpine will delight those who really love to drive.
