Aston Martin Valhalla | News
Now close to becoming reality, the coveted Valhalla – according to Nordic mythology, the majestic hall reserved for fallen heroes – represents for Aston Martin a plug-in hybrid hypercar with 950 horsepower. Ready to shake up the automotive elite, it will be produced in 500 units, with a price of around 1.25 million euro. Then, the 1,000 Nm made available by the combination of a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and two electric motors – each supplying power to their respective axle – can set you off from 0 to 100 kph in 2 and a half seconds and reach a top speed of 330 per hour, all counting on four-wheel drive.
But that’s not all, since aerodynamics – albeit one of the crucial points of the project – is able to enhance the purity of lines and soft shapes, with a rear spoiler that does not distort the look of the car, actually contributing to generate up to 600 kg of downforce, with a total weight of just 1,550 kg. 8-speed dual clutch gearbox and hybrid technology that guarantees 15 km of range at a maximum of 130 kph, carbon ceramic brakes and solutions obviously borrowed from the world of Formula 1. In short, if Valhalla really exists, it has the shapes of this Aston Martin.
