When in 1990, Audi launched the 80 Coupe, things started to become serious. Its success has also paved the way to the sedan and avant versions, while the sportier S2 was one of the Four Rings most exciting cars ever. The 5-cylinder 2.2cc, was providing 220-hp and then, with the arrival of the “ABY” engine, the output reached 230-hp. The second version also included a 6-speed manual transmission, instead of 5. An ensemble of design and performance, guaranteed to the owners of this innovative coupe, a unique product, and that in some ways has made school. The engine, equipped with a KKK turbocharger, give off 350Nm of torque, distributing traction on all four wheels, thanks to the famous Quattro AWD, which made the S2, a great car even on slippery surfaces. The back, thanks to the large rear window which integrated the rear spoiler, gave the coupe, that touch of sportiness that finally the S2 version should not be afraid to put on display.
