Audi RS5 by Capristo: Very Heavy, Very Angry
What does it mean? If you have the previous generation RS5 in mind, you remember very well that it was an exceptional car, powerful, easy to carry at mind boggling speed and comfortable even on long journeys. But what was missing was that spark being able to make us forget weddings and lunches with parents in-laws for spending entire weekends behind the wheel. Not that it was not possible during the week, given its innate adaptability and the typical characteristics that a sports coupe must have, but we know it well – weekends arrive only every 6 days and must be exploited properly.
The new RS5 has sharpened its somatic features and it does not matter if it has lost 2 cylinders, embracing the turbocharged philosophy thanks to the new TFSI 2.9cc V6 which maintains its 450 horses but gains more torque by touching 600Nm at just 1,900 rpm. Then make sure to add a Capristo exhaust system carefully designed using CAD technology, with the ability to maintain an enough aggressive sound with valves closed and ready to unleash all of its primordial ferocity by the touch on the remote control, opening the valves and getting a sports car of the highest level finally ready to launch some fireworks in your life.
