Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2025: A Journey Into The Heart Of Automotive And Motorcycling History
Auto e Moto d’Epoca, the international exhibition dedicated to classic cars and motorcycles, returns to BolognaFiere from 23rd to 26th October 2025, promising an edition full of events and attractions for motor enthusiasts. This year, the show is set to be a genuine journey through the history of motoring and motorcycling, with displays dedicated to industry icons and a vast offering of spare parts and accessories. “We have many surprises in store for the 2025 edition,” declares Mario Carlo Baccaglini, founder and organiser of the exhibition. “Our goal is to continue on the path laid out by our history, cultivating the tradition and enthusiasm that have distinguished us since the very first edition. We want to continue to be what we’ve always been: the motoring passion exhibition. And we want to use the facilities and spaces offered by BolognaFiere to create unforgettable, immersive, and engaging experiences. Every year, Auto e Moto d’Epoca amazes because it manages to be different while always remaining itself.”

It all kicks off with “75:1 – 75 years, one seat”, a tribute to the 75th anniversary of Formula One. A large exhibition will tell its story, featuring a selection of single-seater cars that marked different eras, from the 1950s to the early 2000s. The exhibit, organised in partnership with private collectors and industry specialists, will offer visitors the opportunity to admire legendary race cars up close, witnessing technical innovations and memorable sporting achievements. This exhibition promises to be a highlight for all motorsport enthusiasts, showcasing single-seaters that belonged to drivers of the calibre of Juan Manuel Fangio, Karl Kling, Nelson Piquet, Ayrton Senna, Riccardo Patrese, Nigel Mansell, and Michael Schumacher.
On the motorcycle front, Honda will celebrate its history with an unprecedented exhibition: 600 square metres dedicated to a collection of motorcycles rarely seen by the public. The exhibition will include Grand Prix bikes never displayed before and will be enhanced by the presence of motorcycle champions, making the experience even more engaging. Visitors will be able to trace decades of innovation, design, and sporting successes of the Japanese brand, fully immersing themselves in its motorcycle culture.
The Stellantis Heritage HUB will make its début for the first time at Auto e Moto d’Epoca. This museum preserves and celebrates the historical legacy of Italian makes like Fiat, Lancia, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Autobianchi, and Jeep. With a collection of around 300 vehicles, the Heritage HUB offers a complete overview of over a century of technical, stylistic, and cultural evolution in the Italian automotive sector. This presence constitutes a significant enhancement for the exhibition and a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to admire automotive masterpieces.

But Auto e Moto d’Epoca doesn’t stop there. The area dedicated to Automobilia continues to grow, offering an increasingly wide and refined selection of original items related to motoring history. From posters and trophies to signs, and even the most unusual objects, visitors will find a broad range of articles capable of recreating the heroic atmosphere of past motor sports. This section caters not only to collectors but to all enthusiasts who wish to take home a piece of history.

Two exhibition halls will be entirely dedicated to vintage car and motorcycle parts, providing an important reference point for restoration enthusiasts. Specialist exhibitors will offer a vast selection of original parts, faithful reproductions, and rare components, all categorised by make, era, and model. Specialisation is increasingly evident, with exhibitors focusing on specific parts for historic Italian automotive brands, including original period accessories. This sector confirms the importance of detail in preserving automotive heritage.
“Auto e Moto d’Epoca, the largest event in the sector in Europe, annually brings together exhibitors, collectors, media, and visitors from all over the world in Bologna, with a positive economic impact on the region,” declares Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere. “Following last year’s surprising market rebound, we anticipate even more significant growth”.
Also this year, running concurrently with Auto e Moto d’Epoca, will be “Time on Show,” the benchmark event for vintage and collectible watches organised by BolognaFiere in the Gallery Hall.
