Auto & Moto d’Epoca Padua 2020 | We’re Almost There!
From 22nd to 25th October, the Classic Car Fair in Padua promises an all-encompassing experience: from important anniversaries to a special focus on the Italian brands which once signalled the rebirth and financial boom of this industry.

The Classic car world is gathering in Padua for the key event of the Italian car-manufacturing
industry and one of the most important events of its kind in Europe. In addition to the huge specialised dealer market and the participation of the Clubs, the 2020 edition will also be enriched by an original analysis of one of the most important and least known chapters of the history of the car industry: post-war artisan Italian brands, that is to say entrepreneurial companies which relaunched the car sector in Italy and paved the way for the innovation of the great European brands. Among the many prestigious anniversaries of 2020 being celebrated in the pavilions, it is worth mentioning 110 years of Alfa Romeo, 85 years of Jaguar, 60 years of the Lancia Flavia and 50 years of Range Rover. Also confirmed this year is the special Galleria 78 : a space dedicated to businesses which have showcased innovation and craftsmanship when refurbishing historic vehicles and super cars.
Genius, talent and vision changed the history of cars and motorcycles in Italy during the post-war rebirth of this industry: two exceptional exhibitions open the 36th edition of Padua Fair taking place from 22nd to 25th October 2020. The courage to dream and pursue one’s passion for cars is the fil-rouge of the 2020 edition
of Auto e Moto d’Epoca. It is also the theme of two key exhibitions housed at Padua Fair . Two exhibitions dedicated to the courage to change and imagine the future will tell the stories of the cars and motorbikes created by automotive craftsmen, who made it possible for this industry to thrive in postwar Italy. The first exhibition entitled ” the ordinary becomes extraordinary ” will be dedicated to the ability to transform common cars into racing giants thanks to the flair of exceptional artisans. The second exhibition ” passion becomes victory ” centres around the racing motorcycle house of a great enthusiast who had the courage to challenge and beat the great car manufacturing houses of that time to the finish line. In both cases, “transformation ” is the key feature: knowing how to combine manual craftsmanship with the vision of creating something new and never seen before. This skill has always been part of Italy’s toolbox and it became a relevant message in the post-epidemic era.
At Auto e Moto d’Epoca, the stories of the artists and dreamers of the past becomes an invitation for the future of the Classic sector and beyond: a chance to start again, go back to sharing a common passion or learn about the vintage car and motor sector with trust and interest. Thanks to thousands of cars, models and enthusiasts, this industry will meet again in Padua from 22nd to 25th October 2020.
