Autodromo di Monza
TRACK BIBLE – EPISODE 1
Circuit Name: Autodromo Nazionale di Monza
Country: Italy
Location: Monza
Length: 5.793 km
Record: 1’21”046 Rubens Barrichello (Ferrari F1)
Info: Monza is one of the fastest circuits in the world. With the most powerful cars you can reach even 350 kph at the end of the starting straight, while brakes are put to the test for the entire duration of the race (or free laps).
Focus: the Variante Ascari chicane could be faced very fast, but it should be approached with the right line, otherwise it can do serious damages or make lose precious seconds. The famous Parabolica is instead the fast and long corner that leads to the initial straight; it would not seem but it is one of the most difficult corners of the entire circuit if faced fast.
