Bad Boys Just Came at Monza
Time flies, literally.
Once 2015 has been archived, I do not even have time to assimilate my comeback from the very short winter holidays, that I find myself catapulted into the new year signed by Auto Class Magazine, including a very full calendar of events, test drives, appointments, phone calls at all hours of day and night and of course the first Sunday track day (off the track, this time) along with some friends at SupercarSafari, the first club for owners of supercars in Italy, which has made the desire to have fun without unnecessary frills their ultimate mission.
At ACM, we like beautiful and powerful things, and so we could not but join forces with them, for a series of articles that will have as protagonists some of the most beautiful cars around, all united by the bond of this great family that knows and wants to use their cars for what they are, just as “fast and noisy tools”, often very close to pornography.
So, on Sunday, January 24th we meet at the Temple of Speed, and as usual, the Autodromo Internazionale of Monza did not disappoint. Even the weather is in our favor with a clear sky and a sun that made it possible to leave our jackets in the trunk. The day goes by fast, between laps on track, shots in the pit lane, in the paddock area, chitchat and laughter and above all the possibility to bring all three cars in the heart of the RAV (the high speed straight), the old Parabolica, one of the world’s most iconic corners. I challenge you to stand still perfectly to more than ¾ of its inclination. The true stars of the day, the beautiful Corvettes you see in the pictures (a C6 Convertible, the new C7 Z06 and the only Callaway C6 registered in Italy), will be among the most interesting contents of the next issue of Auto Class Magazine, so make sure you do not miss the full review with the stunning pictures of our crew.
