Perfectly following the schedule to which we have become accustomed in recent times, Bentley introduces the V8 version of the Flying Spur, which therefore joins the powerful W12 we tested earlier this year. Distinguished by glossy black details such as the front grille, profiles, air intakes and the new 22-inch Mulliner rims, the Flying Spur V8 is the ideal 4-door grand tourer for those who need maximum comfort and distinctly sporting performance always at hand.
In fact, the 4-liter twin-turbo delivers 542 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque, obviously on both axles, guaranteeing an instant response to the demand for power, all while keeping intact that muffled feeling that is offered to the occupants, regardless if you’re taken for a drive by your private driver or if you are the one at the wheel, an aspect that with the latest generation Bentleys becomes more and more predominant, thanks to an increasingly refined driving dynamics, in this case also facilitated by 100 kg less than the 12-cylinder sister. Performance like 4.1 seconds to shoot from 0 to 100 kph and top speed of 318 per hour, with the addition of cylinders deactivation in just 20 milliseconds, this not only to limit fuel consumption, but to improve emissions. The first deliveries will begin at the end of 2020.
