BMW 3.0 CSL HOMMAGE
It’s always the right time to pay homage to your ancestors, especially pulling out something that has aesthetically embodied sportsmanship, when horses were still closed in the stable. The new concept by BMW, the 3.0 CSL Hommage (yes, with two M) is clearly inspired by the racing lines of the ‘70 CSL Coupe. The big wing on the back and the design line that runs through the side is a prime example. Info branched by the House tell about the use of carbon fiber panels which emphasize the mission of 40 years ago for pursuing the maximum weight limit possible for the body of the car. CSL means “Coupe Sport Leichtbau” (Coupe Sport Lightweight), but all hope of seeing a car like this or even similar, cruising on our roads is immediately turned off from that hateful word: Concept.
