BMW’s electric future is previewed by the new i4 Concept, boasting 530 hp and 600 km of maximum range.
With an expected arrival in 2021, the i4 Concept anticipates what will be a Gran Coupe ready to battle Tesla in the full-electric world. Taking the opportunity to present the new logo that will soon be posted on all models of the brand, the i4 Concept is characterized by a futuristic and distinctly sporty line, promising 530 horsepower of overall output and 600 km of max range, thanks to 80 kWh batteries which will maintain the total weight of their unit at around 550 kg. Like any electric vehicle of this kind, the performance will satisfy those who cannot give up a 0-100 kph around 4 seconds, while the passenger compartment – although the final version could differ significantly from this prototype – shows a latest generation environment, with curved display that contains all the digital instrumentation.
There will be three different driving modes, namely Core, Sport and Efficient, each of which will act on the set-up, but also on the graphics of the display itself and of the interior lighting.
