BMW M3 Touring | News
We have waited a lifetime for it and just as many claim that the world of performance wagons has definitely given way to super-SUVs, BMW unveils the first M3 Touring in history. But there’s more, since it will only be available with the Competition package and this tells a lot about it, stay sure.
The lines are muscular and unmistakable, with the huge double kidney at the front ready to be forgiven thanks to a twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine with 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of maximum torque grounded by the xDrive all-wheel drive transmission with an 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox with Drivelogic capable of guaranteeing a 0-100 kph of just 3.6 seconds, then reaching 200 per hour in less than 13 seconds. Top speed electronically limited at 250 per hour, but thanks to the M Driver’s Package it removes all inhibitions and allows you to reach 280 kph. We’ve been waiting for a long time – maybe too long – but the M3 Touring will surely know how to be forgiven.
