Let’s make things straight: the recently revealed BMW M5 Competition has a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that grounds 625 horsepower (+25) and 749Nm of torque (the same of the standard M5, but here with a wider curve). 3,3 seconds will be enough for reacing 100 kph – as well as with the standard M5 – but you’ll reach 200 kph in 10,8 seconds (0,3 seconds quicker).

You’ll also get an enhanced soundtrack, thanks to a new BMW M Sport exhaust with black chrome tips, all combined to other wizardry like a specific chassis tuning, springs and dampers adjustments, lower suspension and new mountings for the rear anti-roll bar, or the exclusive 20-inch M light-alloy wheels with a Y-spoke design. Cosmetic specific bits are found on high-gloss Shadow Line trim, high-gloss black kidney grille surrounds, decorative mesh gills, and unique rear bumper trim and mirror caps.
