Bugatti Centodieci Pays Homage To The Very First Hypercar
Bugatti has always been synonymous with that perfect combination of exaggerated power and unsurpassed elegance. Its illustrious legacy has written indelible pages in the automotive world, but in not too remote times, it is impossible not to think at the EB 110 as the first true hypercar that has ever laid the wheels on the road. Produced in only 139 units between 1991 and 1995 and under the look of the Italian Romano Artioli, the EB 110 created a unique aura, now celebrated by the Centodieci (Italian for 110), presented at the Monterey Car Week.
It obviously derives from the Chiron and borrows its gigantic 8-liter W16, which here supplies 1,600 horsepower, but does that with extreme angular lines enriched by continuous references to the glorious ancestor of the 90s. Only 10 will be produced, each of which will cost at least 8 million Euros (excluding taxes) and will certainly not be afraid to give life to other great emotions, strong of a 0-100 kph of just 2.4 seconds, a 0-200 kph of 6.1 seconds and a top speed limited to 380 per hour. The Centodieci will be a car for just a handful of lucky buyers, but it allows everyone to continue enjoying the magnificent Bugatti dynasty, in this case celebrating a model created with the aim of satisfying the deepest passion for amazing performance.
