Bugatti Chiron: Game Over for Everyone
The heir of the most exciting hypercar of our days has been presented in Geneva and is called Chiron, in honor of the French pilot, protagonist of spectacular duels in the days when race cars were more like death objects than automobiles. There is so much to say and at this preview, we have been literally enchanted by how designers have managed to evolve the sinuous lines and the distinctive features of the Veyron, without changing that classic style and those patterns, which in this case continually recall the letter “C”, both outside and inside the luxurious cabin. The W16 8.0 liters can always count on four turbos (bigger than before), while the horses rose up to 1,500 and torque reaches 1.599Nm of peak, obviously distributed on both axles. The Chiron does not seem to be an untamable beast, but rather a lady who loves to style and profile, thanks to a myriad of details that require a careful look in order to be really appreciated. Up front, the typical Bugatti honeycomb grille remains, but around it there is a sharper design and the lights disappear towards the wheel arches that contribute well to the new look of the Chiron, while the sides are enriched with carbon panels and the two-tone body scheme. At the rear, a large horizontal LED acts as a brake light, with a central exhaust tip, immersed in a huge carbon fiber diffuser. The engine remains on display and this time do not hide its figures, thus removing all doubt to those that once they see one on the street, will be wondering how powerful this thing is. Some interesting facts: it will be produced in only 500 units and will cost about 2.5 million Euros, while performance do not differ much from the Veyron. Another time, Bugatti has played its move and the others, whether they like it or not, will have to chase.
