Can The New Audi RS5 Coupe Be The Master of the Rings?
It take no prisoners and it has all it takes to complete its mission successfully. The new long awaited RS5 Coupe loses weight, gains power and promises a highly improved handling putting driver’s involvement as its main target. Despite the look may seem a “simple” evolution of the previous model, you can easily notice as the car body is literally hugging the ground, with a low center of gravity enhanced thanks to a roof made of carbon fiber. The 6-cylinder twin-turbo 2.9 now delivers 450 horsepower and 600Nm of torque and uses an 8-speed gearbox, that you’d also couple with a rear sport differential – you read that right.
They claim 3,9 seconds for 0-100, while top speed is limited at 250 per hour, a barrier that of course, you can remove by choosing the proper dynamic package. Inside there’s everything you expect from a last generation Audi that can be yours starting at around € 80,000, and so infotainment 3.0, leather, virtual cockpit and so on, but you’ll probably be too busy oversteering as you never imagined possible.
