Our ideal ultimate sports car is rear-wheel drive, with a weight balance that embraces the favor of Jupiter and Saturn, a powerful engine capable of having all of our attention and a soundtrack worthy of a concert of the London Philharmonic. The BMW M2 is the worthy heir of the 1M Coupe, but since every self respecting car guy always wants something more, we know what to do. To further unleash the 370hp 6-cylinder voice and leave back all the filters that step through you’d need an exhaust system with valves, so you can choose when to be a real bandit or when act like a quiet outlaw.
Capristo offers a full 309 stainless steel exhaust system, entirely polished by hand and with the ability to choose the tail pipes as you wish. We would opt for two pairs of blacks pipes, while the valves would always be open, never mind our neighbors starting to hate us every time we come back late at night. We do not mind losing their sympathy, when all that we want are long tunnels and roads immersed in the mountains, ideal sound box courtesy of Mother Nature.
