Club Lotus Italia: Hungry For Curbs
Here is a brief review of the latest Reunion on track: a three-day meet & drive organized by Club Lotus Italy, which took place across Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.
Crews came from all over Italy, already gathering on Friday, September 25 in Forte dei Marmi (LU), Versilia, to spend an afternoon at the beach, have an aperitif in the city center and rest overnight at the hotel. On the next day, the convoy of cars met at the Lotus Automare Carrara dealership, for accreditation, breakfast and driving tour across the Apennines through the challenging Cisa Pass, which connects Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. In the evening, cars arrived in Varano de ‘Melegari (PR) for dinner and sleep a bunch of hours before the final day. Sunday 27 was instead the fateful day that has characterized the entire meeting: at the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti in Varano de ‘Melegari, drivers alternated timed laps on track to technical briefings, assisted by professional drivers, in order to improve their driving skills and exploit the best out of their performance Lotus. Just in time for lunch, awards, goodbyes, fixing a new appointment at the next Reunion On Track.
