Corvette ZR1: 755 HP. What Else Do You Need?

It’s not just the most powerful Corvette ever, but the best one. Mark Reuss, executive vice-president of the brand, is firmly convinced about that and it’s certainly not easy to move the slightest negative comment, as the brand new ZR1 looks like a warrior ready to annihilate the competition. The evolution of the LT4 from the Z06 gives life to the new 755 horsepower and 970Nm of torque LT5, which will try to kill the rear wheels thanks to an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 7-speed manual.

The secret of the ZR1 is not only in the improvements made to its 6.2cc supercharged V8, but in the aerodynamic package that you will have to check when speccing your very one. You can opt for the low wing package, which will allow you to have a higher top speed and 70% more downforce than the spoiler fitted on the Z06. With the high wing option, however, available through the ZTK Performance package, there is also a front carbon fiber splitter, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and a dedicated suspension setting. The first ZR1s will begin to be available from Spring 2018 and at that point, with this new predator at large, the roads will no longer be the same.
