Four years after the legendary Top Gun, director Tony Scott chooses once again Tom Cruise and packs an exciting movie still filled with adrenaline as the main ingredient. No more F14s but cars, those of the NASCAR Racing championship, the charming Dr. Lewicki (Nicole Kidman), mentor Harry (Robert Duvall) and fierce rival Rowdy Burns (Michael Rooker).
TITLE: Days of Thunder

GENRE: action, sport
Days of Thunder showcases the weaknesses and the strong determination of a man in pursuit of his dream, through almost two hours of action and racing scenes that lead us to deepen our knowledge with a discipline that on the other side of the ocean is among the ultimate reference points in motorsport. A slightly poor realism gives way to the narrative needs of putting our protagonist at the center of attention, this is a film that made us dream and above all demonstrated that with dedication and sacrifice it is possible to obtain everything you want, also appreciating the fact that Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman really fell in love during the filming of the movie, starting their story together on set and continuing it even away from the camera. Days of Thunder is by no means a perfect piece of cinema, but a beautiful story that despite having all the clichés of the case (the racing hero, the antagonist, the beautiful doctor and the friend with wise advices) will transport you into an adventure that in the its apparent simplicity will win you over and entertain you from the very first minutes.
