We know that after a long and distinguished career, one of the symbols of British, indeed worldwide motoring, the Land Rover Defender, has ceased production. It seemed a good moment tough to increase the nostalgia and give birth to a decidedly different Defender. This is what the guys at JE Motorwerks has created: the ultimate off-road that we all want: a rude look, without unnecessary frills and an engine that is able to make it not just the undisputed off-road master, but also a ruler on paved roads. Under the hood there is in fact a 4.7 Jaguar-Land Rover V8 able to output 475 horses. The Zulu² is all of this, plus a significant embellishment for the interior area, new suspension (stiffer and with lowering springs) and a new limited slip differential. And then new brakes for handling the welcome power and details inside and outside that make you understand what you are dealing with. It will be built in only 25 units and could be yours at around $ 214,000.
