€11-Million Bugatti La Voiture Noir. Let’s Celebrate!
It’s the one-off that Bugatti has brought to Geneva and represents the most exclusive way to celebrate the 110 years of the Type 57 SC Atlantic, one of the most avant-garde silhouettes of the entire automotive catalog and style icon for over a century. Called “La Voiture Noir” (The Black Car) and based on the Chiron combines and reinterprets design features that have made legendary the Atlantic and even manages to overshadow the equally epic Bugatti Divo. Every single piece has been modeled by hand, but La Voiture Noir is not just an exhibit, as it still has the huge 16-cylinder 8-liter quad-turbo engine capable of delivering 1,479 horsepower and pushing this work of art on wheels from 0 to 100 kph in just 2 and a half seconds.
An anniversary gift so exclusive that it is produced in a single piece, already sold for the dizzying figure that makes La Voiture Noir the most expensive new car ever. Ferdinand Piech, former chairman of the VW group has in fact paid 11 million Euros, excluding taxes, but has put in his garage a milestone in the history and future of automotive.
