With the Sport Series, McLaren has created something astronomical. The 570S is a phenomenal supercar that manages to keep a more accessible price tag than its competitors (even something less with the 540C), but without giving up the exclusivity of its noble materials, a speed-devoted shape and rocket-like performance. For us driving enthusiasts, any excuse is good to get behind the wheel and get lost trying to discover those roads that can thrill us as if we had opened our eyes to a new world for the first time.
The 570GT is our ultimate escape. Pack some extra luggage, because the load compartment increases in volume, thanks to a second trunk built over the engine compartment, and the structure becomes less rigid. This does not mean that the 570GT will be the substitute for your sedan or the family SUV, but imagine planning your holidays and finally having the chance to get there at the helm of a 562-horsepower twin-turbo V8. But above all, try to imagine how it could be to put a couple of backpacks in the GT and leave without a destination, exploring new places with the constant company of an engine ready to kick in as soon as you feel the need – and you will. I did it and I can tell you that since I came back, I do not sleep at night. I have to escape again. As soon as possible. And with the GT.
