“This is my third Super Light. I have to say it’s always been love for the Mercedes brand, but when I was able to better manage my working schedule and above all my spare time, and can count on a decent sum to invest in a car, I thought – Why choosing two different cars, when I can have one that is able to satisfy me always and anyway? – That’s why I opted for a GT as the SL. It has supercars-like performance, paired to a comfortable luxury sedan. The shape of a cabrio then, make them eternal, always true to its predecessors, but with a constant eye on the future. There is full of technology and I do not deny that looking at a good half of the buttons on the dashboard, I do not know what they are for, but the sat nav is accurate, the stereo makes you feel in a disco and, what matters most when you want to relax, the engine, has a scary amount of torque. Over 1000Nm, it will test your rear tires, despite the limited slip differential especially designed for this 65 AMG. If you ask me why I chose an SL65 instead of a Ferrari or a couple of Porsche, or even to a normal SL63, I would answer that I like to be comfortable, fast and above all, I do not want to tell the whole town when I go somewhere. The SL does not hang posters as you pass by, but if you push heavily on the gas, you will rule them all. Without exception. That’s why I think this is not overvalued. When the new model will come, I will replace it. Only then, and only with its very next model. If this is not loyalty … “
