Throughout the 90 minutes, this documentary gives us a tremendously real insight into how risky the profession of racing driver was during the 1950s, the golden years for motor racing. Led by the Commendator Enzo Ferrari, the Scuderia born in Maranello welcomed an impressive series of champions who made their name legendary. However, everything was paid at a very high price, that of life, a situation that was sadly common at the time in a racing world light years different from today. Partly focused on the brilliant career of the two British drivers Peter Collins and Mike Hawthorn, the story is compellingly told thanks to numerous archive footage and unreleased photos.
