Ferrari SF90 Spider | News
€ 473,000, this is what you need for taking home the most powerful spider ever produced by the Prancing Horse. The SF90 Spider declines in open air mode what we’ve seen with the stratospheric SF90 Stradale and therefore the exceptional combination of the 780 horsepower coming out of the 3.9cc turbocharged V8 combined with three electric units for a total of 220 horsepower. Final output is 1,000 horsepower and performance close to that of a Formula 1, with a 0-100 kph of just 2.5 seconds. However, what makes the SF90 Spider a lethal weapon for the track are its engineering and excellent mechanics, the result of constant development that manages to bring to the road the experience gained in the world of racing.
We find the special eManettino, which has the task of managing the energy flows so as to optimize the traction of the car, while the driving modes are 4: eDrive (100% electric and able to travel up to 25 km at a top speed of 135 kph), Hybrid (automatic management of the petrol V8), Performance (thermal engine always on, with battery unit at performance’s disposal) and Qualify (which delivers 1,000 hp offering the maximum driving experience).
Superfine aerodynamics that make this hypercar usable, although certainly not for the less experienced drivers, confirming once again how Ferrari has definitely left its rivals way behind. And let’s not forget the version called Assetto Fiorano, which includes Multimatic shock absorbers, even more carbon fiber and titanium, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires approved for road use and a special dedicated two-tone livery.
