Franciacorta Historic
It took place between 12 and April 13, the eighth edition of the Franciacorta Historic. The magnificent vineyards and Lake Iseo, accompanied by a beautiful sunny day, made even more enchanting the panoramas which act like background for the event. Winning Team was the one of Andrea Belometti and Federico Passi of the Scuderia FM Franciacorta Motors, driving a 1932 Siata 508 S Balilla. Second place for the Team of Canè-Galliani on a 1938 Lancia Aprilia and third at the finishing line Salviato-Moglia on a 1971 Fiat 128 Rally. Salviato-Moglia also gains the victory in the regularity event held on the evening of the first day. A perfect organization for every detail, which, just one hour before the start, released the roadbook to the teams, in order to create more competition among the 101 crews lined up for the race. Among the prewar cars, we’ve seen the amazing 1925 Bentley 3 Litre. The gate of “Colombara Golf Resort” was opened at 11 am and competitors have started revving their engines. 52 stages of which 51 valid for the final classification. 101 participants, 97 at the start and 85 at the finish.
An experience, why not, to also live as competitors next year.
