Our reader’s Evo VIII is incredibly far from being stock. The development and customization are the basis of Japanese car culture; make your vehicle different from that of others, and above all with even better performance, even going so far to get around 450-500 horse power it is not rare, but if most cars fail handling such a power, the Lancer Evo is able to handle it without losing driveability and safety.
Simone has realized his dream in 2010, after a long and careful research on the internet. It was love at first sight for him, he says. The aggressive look of the Evo VIII was made even more extreme by the use of genuine carbon fiber panels, as for the bonnet and boot lid. Countless aesthetic goodies that frame to a mechanical work not to laugh about, in fact, in addition to having the ECU remapped, Simone has replaced the exhaust with an HKS one, new reinforced copper clutch, coilovers suspensions and a couple of bars to stiffen the chassis. In short, a real Frankenstein that now offers performance worthy of a supercar and by counting every single piece that was changed or added, we arrive in Nissan GTR’s territory (and I am not exaggerating). Photos speak for themselves guys; instead the story teaches us that all good things come to an end and after having had the Evo IX and then the X, we will surely spend a lot of time on Autoscout, looking for our next sports car, hoping to make a good deal and maybe realize our dream, just like Simone did.
