Fuji International Speedway
Track Name: Fuji International Speedway
Country: Giappone
Location: Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture
Lenght: 4.563 m (current configuration)
Overall Record: 1’18’’426 – Ferrari F2008 (Felipe Massa) (current configuration)

Info: The track, built in the 60s, is owned by Toyota since 2000. Throughout its existence, the conformation of the track has undergone several changes, that have modified the general configuration: the last one, in 2005, is the one that signed the return of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, after 30 years since the first GP of the maximum racing series in Japanese land. The following year, FIA, however, gave back to Suzuka the F1 race. It is a fast track, thanks to the main straight, that with 1.5 km in length, is one of the longest in the world, enabling high speed just before entering the first corner.
Focus: A very particular curiosity about this track, after the last renovations in 2005, is the names of the new corners: some, following advertising agreements, have just the names of the sponsors (Panasonic, Dunlop, Coca Cola), while the other have simply the radius of corners (75R, 100R, 120R, 45R, etc.).
