Dreams start from afar and come to life from roots that are firmly planted in the ground, just like the former Agip petrol station in Piazzale Accursio in Milan, key site for the good old Italy during the 50s. Wednesday, September 7, the team of Garage Italia Customs, captained by the eccentric and amazing Lapo Elkann, welcomed reporters and press officers in what will be the new dream factory made in Milan, with the valuable support of Michele De Lucchi and chef Carlo Cracco , which will open a restaurant, just upstairs.
At the official presentation, participants were able to get a taste of what will happen inside the walls of the new GIC headquarter, which is the implementation of one of the highest and important values: freedom. Freedom of expression, freedom to vent our own ideas and make them come to life, through car wrapping and a total customization of the interior, always relying to the “maestros”, professionals, as Lapo like to call them. The “Centro Stile” benefits from cutting-edge technology, digital equipment and a lot of experience in order to guide their customers through a path that will realize every detail, that moments before, were only in their mind.
Garage Italia Customs has therefore a double meaning, in addition to the commercial one, it intends to revive a site, so important for the hectic Milan heritage, slapping a world which is increasingly made up of numbers and impersonality. And if in Italy there is a man able to carry out this thing, this man is Lapo.
