There are many appointments that enrich the events calendar every year, but one that has particularly aroused our interest is undoubtedly the 2023 edition of the GranTour Piemonte. It is a driving tour aiming to discover the pleasures and excellence of Made in Italy between the provinces of Biella and Cuneo, through the enhancement of local companies and a food and wine heritage that represents the quintessence of being together with people who share a great passion for cars and who can’t wait to drive along these roads full of charm and magic.
Press release
“GranTour Piemonte combines passion for automotive, food and wine and the excellence of Made in Italy. The itinerary of this edition, which will take place on 10 and 11 June 2023, will wind along the splendid landscapes of Piedmont, starting from a historic and weaving factory in Biella famous throughout the world for its Cashmere up to the Langhe region through a journey of about 250 km designed to give driving pleasure on roads off the beaten track and with stops and tastings along the way. GranTour is enjoying your car in an atmosphere of friendship, crossing historic towns appreciating the amazement of people at the sight of the car of their dreams, diving into the pool surrounded by vineyards and nature while waiting for a sunset as the ideal setting for an aperitif and dinner in the splendid 5-stars location that will welcome the crews at the end of the first day.
GranTour is also a food and wine journey focusing on local products, small and better known excellences, so after numerous bends and panoramic roads between hills and rice fields, vineyards and hazelnut groves accompanied by the sound of engines, the crews will be guided through menus specifically designed by great chefs, where each course will be accompanied by a local wine, from the bubbles of the Alta Langa to Barbaresco and Barolo.
2 days for about 250 km which include lunch and a visit to a winery on Saturday, overnight stay and dinner in a 5-star resort, lunch in an exclusive restaurant on Sunday and visits and tastings along the way. Start in Pollone (Biella) and arrival in Monforte d’Alba (Cuneo). The event is fully accessible to people with disabilities and can accommodate up to 23 crews”.
