Honda NSX 2015
European debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show for the iconic Japanese supercar: after 30 years of absence, Honda dusts off the mythical three letters for a “new sports experience.” Hybrid is the buzzword of the new NSX: the heart is indeed a hybrid V6 twin-turbo mounted in mid-rear position, but helped by three electric engines. An electric one is connected to the thermal engine to give more power to the rear wheels, while two electric are positioned on the front axle in such a way as to ensure power also to the front wheels. All the power available (rumors say about 550-hp) is discharged to the ground through a 9-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Thanks to the new engine with a cylinder angle of 75°, the new Honda NSX will be the sport car with the lower center of gravity on the market: a feature that, thanks to a car body in carbon fiber and aluminum, will make the NSX particularly agile and precise while driving to the limit.
Welcome back!
